nothing funny about it. You have to wonder if his team was winning if this would have happened?

I hope this is just heat related. Pretty hot today for September in the Twin Cities today.

Wow. That is so sad. I know its bad of me to say, but how are the players even going to get back to playing football.

On Big Ten Network right now, I haven't seen the replay but the announcers say he wasn't hit, just fell down on his own. They are putting him in an ambulance now, he's hooked up to IV and oxygen right now.

That's the thing that's weird, Gophers still have a chance to tie with :20 left.

Guy had heart problems with NIU before.... This can't be good. Even if he's ok, he's clearly not ok.

Local CBS station is reporting he had a seizure and is in stable condition.

If my team was losing to New Mexico St at home as a 23 point fav I would have faked a heart attack.

Fukk you, you don't know the first thing about his health. Possibly just a seizure and they just need to change his meds around. Post another loser pal for everyone to fade.

Not cool. Maybe he has a history of heart problems/seizures? Very ignorant statement IMO

Hope he's ok. Seems like a cool guy. Gotta get his health back.

Wonder if MINN forces him to resign.

Local news says he's ok. He has seizure problems so this isn't that uncommon for him I guess...just bad timing. Too bad gophers are still the same junky team. I thought giving USC a good run last week would have helped them but apparently not!

Seizure, he has a history, heat may have had something to do with it, by all accounts, very nice man.

I just got home from the game....it was very weird. At first we all thought there was a fight breaking out on the bench cuz everyone was crowding around. Then I saw the medics. Had no idea who it was or what was going on until my buddy called me. The stadium was completely silent for a while, then one guy started the "Jerry! Jerry! Jerry!" (Springer) cheer and the whole stadium joined in...pretty cool
