Why don't they play music during the innings, not too loud, but just loud enough to give the fans something to pass the time. I have been to games before and at times they get to be real boring when there is little to no scoring going on. Just play a variety of music each inning say for instance:
1st inn -- rock... get the crowed pumped and excited
2nd -- hip hop ...
3rd -- country
4th -- classic oldies ... for the old farts at the game
5th -- 80's music
6th -- 90's
7th -- rock -- wake people up as game is getting close to an end and so fourth
8th -- dance / retro music
9th -- variety of rock, dance / retro
Make the game more exciting, plus maybe some of the players will get into a grove and be more enthusiastic. Imagine playing a shut out or low scoring game, as a player it probably gets boring from time to time. I just think it would be a fun twist for everyone at the stadium period.
