Or are they just trying to stay healthy?

I hope the Giants or Cardinals finish the year 17-3 and pass these bums up for the wild card...

They have 2 starting pitchers on DL, the first baseman is playing hurt, the 3rd baseman has a bad knee, the starting LF went on DL a couple times already. Now lets play hard for the rest 20 meaningless games of the season so we can get more injuries and still finish 2nd in the division, win the wildcard and be decimated for the playoffs. This is what I heard the Braves are debating right now.
