#37You got burned by Oregon last week, so does that mean you will never take them again. It's either ND or no play. The line says it all Brock. #39I would place a fair line for this game as Notre Dame -7 @ Michigan, but situationally I like Michigan to win it outright. However they're only getting +3.5, so IMO, Michigan is not worth a play at this line/price. Poor value.Comment -

#42I care a lot less about what happened last week than I do the specific matchup considerations for this game. Michigan does not have a strong enough secondary to shut down ND's passing game, and the Irish won't have 4 fumbles and throw 3 interceptions again. If Michigan plays a strong defensive game, they will win, but if Notre Dame's passing game gets rolling, the Wolverines will not be able to match them.Originally posted by No coincidencesYou think ND should be favored by a touchdown here? Michigan doesn't have the personnel to contend with an offense like Notre Dame's yet. Period.

#49I agree that it's unlikely that the Michigan D will contain Notre Dame's offense. It would depend on another breakdown by ND's offense, which I would say is highly unlikely. Following that, I expect ND drives to go all the way into the endzone, largely uncontested. The +3.5 is a bad bet, and if forced to choose a side, I would take the Irish -3.5 but there are probably 10 games that I like better than this one in Week 2. I didn't realize the public betting % was so one sided...Originally posted by No coincidences

people keep saying how nd lines are always inflated which they are against south florida, tulsa, syracuse, navy, teams like that, but this is against michigan, the winningest program ever, a team whos lines also get inflated.Comment -

#56Missouri is in deep trouble here. They lost 5 starters due to injury. ASU loves this spot. 7-1 as non-con home favorites of 28 or under, and 7-1 after scoring 35+ points. Wagering on Mizzou is suicidal.
As far as Notre Dame-Michigan goes, there is no question that Notre Dame has more talent. The question is how Kelly reacts to his team's mistake-filled game last week. Kelly is a hot head. He can go off at any time. It appears that he put way too much pressure on his kids to win last week, ranting and raving like a madman on the sidelines. Anyone who thinks that Michigan is a good team really does not know much about football. They are an average 7-5 type team. The Irish are better, but their head coach has a problem. I'm middled out in this game and that is just fine with me.Comment -

#59I think Mizzou is a trap. A top 25 team a dog vs a non-ranked opponent seems like it is just begging for the opponents money. Mizzou is not the team they were last year. On the other hand, it seems like we are always hearin it is ASU's year, which it never is. I think the two biggest variables in this game will be on Mizzou. Can their defense defend this ASU offense and cause turn overs. They will have to, in order for Mizzou to keep up, because their offense can't keep up with ASU's. The other question mark is Mizzou's O line. They seem to be young and plagued with injuries. Can the keep the QB up long enough to make good passes? He is not super accurate in medium and long passes and can definitely be forced into making bad decisions.
My play is ASU -8.Comment -

Yeah MIzzous offense looked terrible last week, I don't understand their ranking. I mean they played Miami of Ohio. Seriously, Miami of Ohio.
They should of scored more then 17. If their offense was half way decent.
ASU played UC Davis, so their offense should of looked great as it did.
I might just make this into a teaser play to be on the safe side, because obviously a lot of stuff can happen, we still do not know a lot about either team. Mizzou could of played down to thier opp. so they don't show ASU any complex packages, who knows.Comment -
