Sorry to hear about the possible divorce. Marriage isn't easy. I know.

I live near Ft. Lauderdale which is about 30 min north of Miami.

South Beach is great. But it can be expensive (not sure what your income is). You absolutely do not need to know how to speak Spanish to live in South Beach. Other parts of Miami, yes. South Beach, no.

The most beautiful women I have ever seen live in South Beach. Just walk down Lincoln Rd on a Fri or Sat night and you will fall in love 14 times.

The best Mojhito (spelled that wrong) Ive ever had is at Sushi Samba which is on Lincoln Rd.

Obviously there are tons of good clubs (if that is your thing) in South Beach. Plenty of great restaurants also (I suggest going to Tantra).

            The beach there is HUGE.

If you have the coin to live there, I say go for it.

Life in South Beach gets old after a while, for me atleast, it's cool if you are there for a week or two but to be there permanently no way. An don't look to settle up in the main city of Miami unless you are going to be in Coral Gables or along Brickell ave. Most of the neighborhoods are garbage and will require you to know spanish, look upwards of Hialeah (not Hialeah itself), cities like Miami Lakes, Palms Springs, unto Broward co. Pembroke Pines, Davies. Those are way better neighborhoods and alot more cheaper than South Beach. Now if you got the dough Key Biscayne is a nice alternative to South Beach.

Dude i hate fvcking people that talk shiit about S. Fla. My saying to those that hate pack up and leave.. make some room for those that like it. No u dont have to speak spanish it helps. Plenty of nice neighborhoods, try palm springs north. Miami lakes , miami springs, Doral.......all away from Coral gables and S. Beach. Like any major player citys miami has GREAT areas and bad. Great food, lots of night action, plenty to do and your always minutes away from anything. Again All that hate S. Fla Ill pack u a fvcking media noche and adios sapingos! BTW Eddie I live in Palm Springs North, not too shabby although I proably couldn't afford a house here now, even with the bad housing market. GL bro and remember it feels sweet in january when have on a tee and shorts.
