But the more I think about it, the more that Saints ML at +175 or +180 is an outstanding wager to me.

I'm not going to waste my breath on the why because there's a counter-argument for everything... but basically the Saints have a running game and the Packers don't. Almost everything else is comparable between the two clubs.

I'm just going to tell you that as with LSU/Oregon there is terrific value on taking the Saints to win the game outright. You're getting a fundamentally superior football team with a great coach. You're getting a great shot at an "upset" at a super price. What do you look for as a gambler, if not such a scenario?

With offenses like these, it's stupid to take HALF the payout over a measly 4 points.

Just as an example, LSU was 4 point underdogs to Oregon and their ML payed +140

The Saints are 4 point underdogs to Green Bay and their ML pays +180.

That is an unreal discrepancy and incredible value.

GB's defense will keep this close

Could easily be a three point game

Do what you like but a wise man always takes the points

People always underestimate Packers RB's. They got a great offensive line, thas why last year when everyone of there RB's went down, another did the job.

Rodgers is so good, that no one can afford to stack the box...ever

The packers are healthy and they're not a good team to bet against when that is the case.
