If I had Maryland +4, I would be thinking I had been getting screwed the entire game. Maryland was the better team and should have been up more.

Miami had 132 less total yards, 10 less first downs, twice as many penalties and 3 more turnovers. The fact that they had a shot to win this game straight up was quite "lucky".

Maryland was supposed to win anyway. If they hadn't missed that 3pt field goal, they would've covered anyway (and what're the odds of missing such a close FG?). Miami backers are forgetting all about that, and focusing on the pick 6 instead.

i don't know if i would say that. there was still 12 minutes left when he missed. miami did march down the field pretty good on the next drive for a fg. had they been down by 5 and not 2 im sure they woulda played it differently. no way to tell now though
