    Peyton Manning Out
The Colts announced Monday that Peyton Manning (neck) will stop practicing and he is considered doubtful for Sunday's game against the Texans.
Panic is now justified. Manning's back is sore, his triceps is weak and his velocity on throws is not there. All this stems from neck surgery rehabilitation which has gone slower than anyone predicted. In a statement, the Colts admitted that "as of now Peyton continues to deal with a complicated neurological recovery, the end date of which is unpredictable." His consecutive games played streak will almost certainly be snapped this Sunday and previous reports that Manning could miss 4-5 games appear credible. Sep 5 - 11:32 AM

Heard before to, he may need anther surgery on his neck. Neck injuries are very serious, coming back to soon, and he takes a bad hit, it could impact the rest of his life. Its not a shoulder problem where it just would effect his playing career. P.Manning should think seriously about retiring if this continues, its not worth risking if it is that serious.

Atleast they are making the call now officially. The Colts will probably be fine as they have known Manning was unsure about his health. They brought Terry Collins in at a good time. He has been able to practice and study the Colts playbooks. I don't see the Colts with a losing season, but not in the playoffs either.

texans will be like -9? It could happen but Collins is still at least a decent quarterback... 9's a lot for the texans to cover..
