Anyone ever had issues gambling through a proxy?
I'm stuck somewhere overnight that has internet filters on their wifi and so I installed hotspot shield to get on SBR... I'm tempted to try playing some poker but fearful that I'm going to have future problems for using a common proxy ip address... Can you get away with this if the proxy connection is short term (1-2 days) and you return to your typical connection after that?

I experimented a little with WSEX's poker software (as I figured it was unlikely I'm going to ever get that $20 back proxy or no proxy) and it seems to allow me around the block... Bodog's software still won't load... I've gotten to the login screen on Carbon but not sure if I'm safe to play behind a proxy short term....

I think it depends on the proxy, most of them do not allow to run flash so many videos and applications would not work. I have tried playing on online casinos with proxies and it has worked. I think you can get away with it if you are just doing it for a day or two.
