Bookmaker's new beta live betting tonight

Bookmaker let us know that they launched a beta of a new live betting platform yesterday and asked what the forum thinks.

Boise St v Georgia and Oregon v LSU are going to be the 2nd and 3rd games.

I think they need to turn off the flashing live betting sign at the top of the bet page. It's annoying. It's looks like something you'd see on Sportsbook.com.

I tried this and I am very disappointed. I thought it would be like BoDog where you can bet on the next play etc, there page actually even says bet on the next play, bet on the next player to score etc.

I tried out the Louisville/FIU game and they are not offering the lines they advertise. Just the 2nd score of the game and the outcome. This is not what they advertise on their sportsbook page which I do not understand.

Con: Delay on accepting bet (expected), sometime odds are not updated and there is no refresh button

if you have it open for a length of time you should notice that.

I had a few times that my bets rejected because of odd change or frozen, but it does not show changed on screen at all!

you do not need to refresh anything.

but i know what you mean on bets getting rejected as when you put them in sometimes before you get the bet in the line freezes

I'm hoping it's a work in progress and that's why their max win limits on each proposition appear to be not greater than 500. It's certainly a step in the right direction and I'm hoping for improvement.

Disappointing. Try to get a bet in...5 second pause...bet denied. Try again...bet denied. Very high hold percentage on their multi-option lines. They are a professional book, last pro book to service USA. They should be able to do better than that.

same here - not that good - but still better than other choices for US players

you have to make up your mind fairly quickly and time it right but so far I really like bookmaker's live betting -- there's room for improvement (it needs to have more things to bet on especially for NFL and also sometimes it lags/hangs and has old/expired odds, which you can get around by just going back to games and re opening that game), hit a nice play with it on the WTA US Open final with stosur +120 live the other day ... I also wish baseball live betting would be incorporated into it as it can be clunky on the regular page

*hopefully they can work out the kinks, it's better than having no live betting at all imo
**would be nice to have the ability to have more than one live game open at the same time (say you want to bet on two ncaa fb games going on simultaneously without switching back and forth via the games menu)

wish a book would copy wsex's live betting format where you buy "shares" of the team and the share price fluctuates, which you can sell at any time... if someone does copy it, do it with a smaller straddle please

i wish they would post the limits because i have no idea what their live wagering limits are. My delay is close to 9 seconds and I'm wondering if it's the same delay for every player? It's clearly better than having no live wagering at all but I definately think they have to improve what they're offering.

Gave er a wirl last night during the oakland game. Everything works swell.

Interested in it for MMA for UFC 135. There are a few fighters on that card that like to "feel out" their opponent in the first round, a lot of times giving up that first round. Looking to pounce going into round 2 on better value.

Maybe someone from SBR can get more info from Bookmaker regarding their live wagering limits. I can't find any info on their site which states their live wagering limits for their new software. I definately believe it's different from their old system but i wish they would clarify and make it more user friendly.

They only do that in a few places in the UK whereas Americans are not allowed

Betfair you can do it with 3rd party software where you can cash out automatically during bet, it shows profit /loss

Nice step up in software, was messing around with it last night for the first time.
