I watch it all the time.

Deadliest catch is not fake its not glorious, its a bunch of guys working hard long hours and in the worst conditions manageable all to make a living.

JJ must have missed last tuesdays episode where the kid almost got his head crushed by the 1,000 lb pot.

Love the show - been watching it for years now. No matter how they dramatize the threats - still, tons of people die every year fishing. I wish I knew about how much you could make when I was 18 - I'd be retired right now (or dead), easy.

Crab fisherman in the Bering Sea are crazy.

The 2008 Winter Ophelia Crab Season has been unbelievable, the bad weather alone is sooooooo compelling. I dont know how they fish in those conditions. Captain Phil going down was a real heartbreaker. Great season sooooooo far!

I worked on a boat in the Bering Sea many years ago for a year and it sucked. I'd rather gamble any day. Long hours - 20-28 hours of work straight thru, smelly fish and crab, monotonous work - it sucks. Best thing I got out of it besides the money was that I got to go to a few places in Alaska that were in the middle of nowhere.

Great show, I don't think it's fake; because there's too much money involved in catching the crabs to waste time pretending to have accidents.
