Even god awful bad movies are works of art with craftsman like graphic artists doing the special effects and the location crew doing their job etc.Do you think these people that know how to put a movie together realize that 10 seconds into the storyline that they are just working their asses off to put crap on film?

The vast majority of movies made are laughable and are just crap any group of 5 year olds could conjure up in their minds while playing in a sand box.Who writes these screenplays?

My 3 months of free Starz,Showtime and HBO are up today after getting Directv installed 3 months ago and good riddance.

All they can do is their jobs.

The graphics people, camera crew etc, all are paid well and all they can control is what they're assigned to do, so no I don't think they worry too much about how entertaining the film might be to others.

The state of American cinema is pretty sad.

I'm actually glad, in a way, that only 3 or 4 quality movies per year come out of Hollywood. It's just enough to satisfy me, but not too much that I waste a lot of time watching movies.

I got the same deal with comcast but they reeled me in. Had to go for the entire gold? package. It is too easy to ppv imo... You think, only $30 here $50 there, no big deal until your bill comes and the 25 movies you bought kinda add up along with the ppvs and the regular charge.

But wtf, either take it with you or don't.

Yes most directors know going right in, it's obviously for the paycheck. I read an article about this somewhere, the time the director realizes is varied.
