It's the wording of the question that makes it tricky. Easy to assume it was someone else than Gretzky.

i'll give you guys some credit, you guys gave some very good guesses here. i didn't think sbr had any knowledgeable hockey guys.. but you guys proved me wrong..

geiko, if you would have said gretzky right away, not only would you have ruined this thread, but you would have blown my mind.. i would have thought of you different from this day on.. you would have been mr geiko from here on. you would have freaked me out.

Now speaking of trivia, this may be a tough one.

mathy, trust me, everyone i have asked this question to, always say what you said after they give me 12 answers. they say..

how did i not think gretzky.. where was my head. it's always easier after answer..

with mario, yzerman, jagr, and sakic in the mix, it's not that easy.
