How Is This Baylor Team??

I am not buying the Baylor hype. They have the better QB and that's a fact. But TCU has a much stronger D and even tough they lost a lot of starters most of the guys playing tonight will be juniors and seniors and know the system. The TCU run game will dominate Baylor. I bought it to -3 only because you have a new QB on the road in his first start. Lots of talent all around this kid, I know the line move has everyone freaked out, but I don't buy it.

Anytime Baylor played anyone decent they got destroyed last year.

They get too much hype because they have a track star playing QB. TCU has the better coach and overall a more talented team.

With that said, it's hard to cap this game because there are so many unanswered questions with TCU. They are breaking in a lot of new players and a new QB. This game "should" be a no play but if I had to choose a side I would definitely play TCU because they have proven themselves in recent years where as Baylor hasn't done anything and usually pisses down their leg as soon as people think they are going to actually do something.

Baylor never has a homefield advantage so that should not factor into anyone's decision. Whenever OU plays Baylor, there are more OU fans there than Baylor fans. Seeing as how TCU is only about 90 miles away, I don't see why it should be any different tonight.

TCU always plays good defense. I don't see Baylor lighting it up offensively. I mean, Baylor only scored 10 against TCU last year and 14 against Illinois. When they played OU and OSU Baylor got into the 20's but that was in garbage time when the game was well in hand.

We shall see. I don't see how anyone could feel comfortable with either side. TCU's new QB could come out and play like shit. You never know.

Patterson has owned Baylor in his tenure, their system just may allow a decent QB to thrive if he can not turn the ball over. Dalton crushed them his freshman year, feel better about giving the points in this one more often than I would backing Baylor in this game. But Baylor will no doubt should be up for this one and may win at least the first quarter maybe half.

I'm leaning Baylor in this game but haven't pulled the trigger yet. There is no way I would take TCU after losing some key players and having to break in a new QB.

yeah, that is what I was referring to. Lost 3 offensive linemen including the left tackle and 3 D-linemen. Baylor only lost 1 O-lineman & 1 D-lineman.
