You can blame whoever you want but when a ball club is outhitting teams consistently who is to blame? sure the bullpen sucks and starters are mediocre pitching but there has got to be a way to shuffle the lineup so that when you get guys on base your have batters who get them in!

Just bad luck I think.. really, these guys just can't hit, so I don't expect too much. But I had them tonight and there was a couple times they should have cashed some runners. But their injured list: Zimmerman, Nick Johnson, Milledge, Dukes, Boone -- maybe that's some excuse.

Yah they would be WAY better without the injuries but my point is they have outhit the opponent 5 out of 7 times this month but are 1-6 they can hit they just cant get the guys home

From my handicapping I actually thought they had almost as good of a chance as Arizona to win. They do suck, but Arizona is not too hot either. If they would have just put something up they could have had a shot to win the game. Still a good bet, and I would make it again.

Here's the real problem with the Nats - NO TALENT! Bunch of guys that sucked elsewhere that are now in Washington. If the following guys were ANY good they would not be in Washington -

Austin Kearns - Cincinnati - blows
Ronnie Belliard - Cleveland - blows
Willy Mo Pena - Boston - Really blows
Elijah Dukes - Tampa - CRAZY & blows but just especially crazy
Paul LaDuca- New York Mets - Blows
Christian Guzman - Minnesota -actually having a decent year BUT BLOWS
Nick Johnson - Yankees - ALWAYS hurt including now & blows

To blame Manny Acta for anything in Washington is ludicrous. And yes some of the above names are injured but they stink nonetheless.
