Im thnking of going vegan. Where do i start? Its over whelming.

Not at all......you can start by just going vegetarian and then move into becoming a vegan... I wouldn't live my life any other way... You are making the right choice. It's not for everyone though... Most everyone in my life eats something with a face or a heartbeat....It''s also very easy to do living in CA, lots of vegan places to eat etc etc.... Not all states are like this.. .also the area... Living in the Yay Area and Bruta for the last 25 years has made it very easy...... Baruch HaShem.

My main reason for wanting to try it is mainly to see if I feel better. I know a few people at work that went vegan and love it, they talk just like Illini. Say they'll never go back so I figured I'd give it a try.

I like the idea about going vegetarian first, I think I'll try and start adding veget. meals tomorrow but my goal is to go vegan. I live in OKC so that won't make it any easier for sure. We love our steaks here.

Do you know of any good resources that made the transition easier for you be it books or websites with meal suggestions? Thx pal

I never said any drugs are not chemically extracted and concentrated from plants did I?

Chewing on poppy pods is not the same as smoking opium

Anyway cap, it's not too hard to eat vegan. Two of my cousins are vegan, and when I cook for them, it's fairly simple. I usually substitute something like zucchini in place of meat when I cook. You can't use any animal products or byproducts whatsoever, but it's really not too difficult. And you're right, your body will feel very much different. I still eat meat, but I can definitely tell the difference in how my body feels if I don't eat any red meat for a week or so. I enjoy seafood too much to become vegan or a raw foodist.

For instance, you can make a really good indian curry, but in place of the chicken, I use zucchini and other veggies, and it's just really good. You do have to get creative since you can't use dairy, but it's definitely doable. Use coconut milk (canned is fine if you can't get it fresh) in place of the yogurt in the curry.

Don't understand what the big deal is..It's not for everyone and most can't do it but it's a lifestyle choice I made years ago.... would never go back....going on 18 years.... Yes, I love yayo, weed and Molly.... Don't like alcohol but drink it from time to time... I don't eat anything with a face or heartbeat, unless it's a hyna.
