SBR becomes a site without any gambling talk. No sportsbook reviews, no talk of spreads and lines....nothing to do with gambling.

Talking sports is ok, along with all other topics you can think of....but gambling is taboo.

Would you still post here?

There are spurts where each forum goes through phases like that actually, depending how busy or slow the time of year is. Ultimately I think people will continue to post here for more reasons than just the current atmosphere, ie, how settled in you are, if you have friends here etc.

i really miss forums that talk about gambling. it doesn't happen here. MW used to be the sharpest forum on the internet. ONLY sharps of all sharps posting about lines, spreads, totals and sharing info. NEVER happens here. i dont know why. if we can start talking gambling, my posts would triple.. i loooooooooooooove talking numbers and gambling, it's a drug for me. we all can learn from each other.

the only good time i remember here at sbr talking gambling was when lakers met celtics. boy, was that a good time. we all talked about what the line would be for game 1, or the series and shared info. we all had our opinions.. lets do that again.. i love this.

i'll talk Gambling Nicky, how about that Cubs game tonight, Dempster UNDEFEATED at home, and the line is -150 something. Love it. Cubs also have the best home record in the game and on top of it, they have hit Harang hard!

also Nicky, wait for college football and hoops, i'll talk about that stuff all day and night, i have lots of opinions there and many years of watching/betting on it to back it up.

Too much hate here IMO. Someone posts a play with a little write up and if it misses people rip the guy so hard he feels less inclined to post his next pick. Even the best of us lose 42% of the time, yet here if you miss you have all these people saying "NICE CALL DUMBASS" etc... Would love to see a place where you could talk picks and talk both sides without the personal attacks.
