Huh? Super Bowl winners do a lot better than Super Bowl losers in the next season. Here's the last 10 Super Bowl winners and what they did in the subsequent season.

Kawika Mitchell was maybe the biggest loss, but the Giants picked him up for free anyway the previous season. Gibril Wilson is probably next on the list, but the Giants used their 1st round pick to replace him with Kenny Phillips, as well as picking up former Pro Bowl safety Sammy Knight. They also lost linebacker Reggie Torbor and defensive tackle William Joseph. But, that's it. 95% of the team is still intact, nevermind the incoming draft class. There is no reason the Giants should not come back strong in 2008. Even DC Steve Spagnuolo signed a new contract to stay with the Giants, despite possible opportunities of leaving to become a head coach elsewhere. No other team in recent memory returns as much personnel, barring repeating champions.
