I question why Bucs are only -1 @ home against the Lions......I like both teams to compete for a playoff berth this season, but it seems like the Bucs should be atleast -3 @ home here.....A no bet for me

How do you figure a transition year? They haven't lost anyone important except maybe Mason and picked up a few nice pieces in the draft and Lee Evans......Plus Flacco still progressing.......Makes no sense

Bucs are undervalued then I guess by the public.....Bucs were very competitive last year ......Freeman also underrated

Just wish they were up against some other team because I feel the same way about the Lions

I like Flacco but I don't think he has the clutch gene.

This is an old team. Other than Flacco and Rice, the core of this team is past their prime (Reed, Lewis, Suggs, Boldin, etc.)

He's like the opposite of Sanchez so far......Sanchez not so good in any old game but awesome in big games and the playoffs......Flacco hasn't been good in big spots but sometimes lights it up in random games

Agree, Stafford paid his dues. As a Bears fan, Detroit will be the surprise in the NFC North.

Ravens and Broncos look pretty good -2.5/-3

Pitt Super Bowl hangover on road against Ravens out for blood in home opener after they threw away Divisional game and likely the AFC. Could be the last year Ravens have a shot. They looked psyched in preseason to get it going and they will want it more and beat PITT.

Broncos and Fox home Monday Night Opener against typical trash Oakland with a 1st time ever head coach. Orton motivated to silence the QB debate once and for all and has a great game against a total and utterly shit Oakland 29th Pass Defense. Perfect spot for Denver

Ravens lost Mason but Gained a game breaker in Lee Evans, I look for the Baltimore Offense to do some really good things this year.

My Best bet is Atlanta/Chicago Over 41
Cutler took a-lot of heat last year during the NFC Championship (Well Deserved Heat) He will come out with a purpose, Atlanta being the superior team will go score for score with the bears.
Who Wins? Who Cares as long as Im right and this is the highest scoring game of the week.

I know SD have been slow starters in recent past but Looking at the matchup alone here, I see a complete a$$ kicking here, SD will pick off Mcnabb or he will do what he does best and put it in the ground all day long, SD will expose the secondary and Minnys D-line will allow a terrible running back in ryan mathews to look like a stud.
Play action pass all day long all day strong.

I also like the 49ers -6
Harbaugh hasnt shown anything at all in the preseason, He has something up his sleeve, Also 49ers got destroyed 31-6 last season opening day @ Seattle, this is all about setting the tone.

Lions are the most overrated team for the coming season.

They are getting plenty of love, they have better odds to win the super bowl now than the Colts.

Actually Tampa was the lock till the line moved, now I'll have to wait till game time to decide or pass.

The stupid meaningless patriots game has really lit up the bandwagon.

I like this one. I also kind of like Lakerboy Miami +7 at home on a Monday night game. While the QB situation is stinko, Miami has 2 good cornerbacks as well as a decent backup CB getting healthy that could help negate New England's passing game.

You would think Sporano would have a simple game plan for Henne by just giving the ball to Marshall and Bush.

Like Az to beat Carolina, not sure about the spread. Carolina defense getting shredded on the ground this preseason, and Kolb to Fitz should click. Can't see Car with rookie QB and a bad defense winning initial game on the road. Also think Miami is getting too many points against NE. Number should be more like minus 4. Will look hard at MIa.
