Making loans to posters.

Never loan money to posters. There is a reason they are borrowing money; their broke.

I've made loans to about 5 guys in forumville and only 1 guy, JJGold, has paid me back and I had to threaten him with bodily harm and waive the interest.

Every city has a pawn shop. I've said adios to things I took to them and didnt get the roll I needed to say hola to them again. Its a lesson we all have to learn.

To piggyback on this warning a little bit, also a good idea not to get into making sidebets with various posters. OK I can understand somebody you consider a close forum bud that you talk to daily etc, but just in general I think you should avoid them.

I have asked guys for money and was not broke. It is called having money tied up so I was just looking for quick cash. I have had at times 40k at books and asked posters for $300 cash so no biggie, don't assume all are broke when asking for money.

Don't loan money, period. Not to family, friends, strangers, etc. You will never have a problem then.

if all your money is tied up then your liquid assets are broke. Therefore your broke.

Still at my girlfriends but they are lifting the evacuation on my area tonight is what they told me. I really hope so. I hate living at my girlfriends it sucks.. The fire has gone up and over the hill...
