i got one guy saying 2003 and another saying 1 blown save and they're saying i'm talking out my ass

well he hasn't pitched vs the sox in the playoffs since he blew his two saves in 2004

i should have left out in the playoffs...sox are the only team he's blown double digits saves against. sorry guys...truth hurts

sox own mo in the playoffs and everyone knows it

just a reminder to our fellow here. yet he cant come up with any examples except a two game yanks choke in 2004. i mean mo didnt get he saves in game 1 and 2 in the same series did he?

he's blown 21% of his save chances in his career against the sox

do you consider that to be good?

What truth are you talking about?

The Sox give Mo the most trouble probably because the Sox are the best team with he best offense of all the opponents since he's been in the league.....not exactly rocket science

I'll gladly take the GOAT closer on the Yankees against shitty Papelbon all day

            Truth hurts? LMAO

no but the yanks might not even play the sox in the playoffs. i wouldnt feel too good about papelbon either and i wouldnt feel too good on relying to beat rivera.

Yankees are never under the radar with 9 million people living in the NY city. They are the cowboys of MLB.
Feliz is not an elite closer.

The Yanks-Sox rivalry is stale right now but a postseason matchup would really rejuvenate. I know both teams are playing great but the rivalry just isn't as intriguing as it used to be.

Everything as I see it points to a Phillies/Red sox world series but of course that's not gonna happen.

im with ya LB...yanks are underrated, so much has been made up about their pitching, yea after CC and Nova, theres questions but plenty of depth...ill take that with the best bullpen and the best lineup in the bigs........and i agree Girardi has managed one hell of a season...GO YANKS

You claimed the Red Sox own Mo in the playoffs......which is obviously not true at all

Then you backed up and claimed he has blown 21% of his games vs Red Sox all time (which may or may not be true?). I then said they have probably given him the most trouble of any team because since 96, the Red Sox have consistently been a good offense so that would be the reason why.....doesn't mean AT ALL that they own him or anything like that.

Regardless, my main point is I'll trust the GOAT against the Red Sox way more than Papelbon against the Yankees.....Playoffs or regular season. That is all.
