Brewers still under-respected at only -140
favorable pitching matchup with .50 or so era differential.
milwaukee 50-16 at home, st louis 35-33 on the road.
milwaukee 10 1/2 games ahead of st louis in the standings.

all these things point to a number that should be much higher than -140 imho

Marcum is the one Brewers pitcher that is actually worse at home because gives up cheap homers

marcum 10 hr and 72 hits (23 bb) in 79.2 innings at home
7 hr and 66 hits (22 bb) in 82.2 innings on the road

so yes, more hrs, hits, and walks at home in less innings but the differential isn't that huge

st.louis will play like champions now because it doesn't matter, thats what teams do. milwaukee never loses at home, st.louis has way underachieved and jackson sucks. that is why st.louis will win. if you are going strictly by he teams, situations and numbers only a moron would back st.louis. gl!

                        unfortunately no.
even with a 7-0 road win by the cubs, no other big roadies and 10 out of 13 home teams won including some scores i was surprised by.
i really thought either the phillies or yankees would throw 10-12 runs on the board

i took the cards because of this. and the brewers will lose more often the next 30 days.

Line movement spoke for itself on this one.

I took the Cards as well, mainly because it made no sense whatsoever.
