How Many People Can HONESTLY Say They Posses Discipline?
I have no discipline. I'm a shite gambler. Discipline is costing me money.

I can say I do. I had no bets on Monday, and only have 2 leans on Tuesday. I don't need to have action everyday.

I certainly do with sports and poker. Now craps and blackjack are an entirely different story...

I lost $140 today which i know is nothing compared to what some people lose but thats not the point, I set oout to lose 50. I lost 50 and knew the next two 30's were wrong but did it anyway. I dont give a fuk about the money, its the discipline. Its uneducated. Fukkin mug punter.

I spot bet and that's were I make the majority of my money but sometimes I get that urge to always have action, so I just bet big on my confident plays and then just place smaller bets on other games. For example I bet Monday night football no matter who's playing I just try my best to cap the game I guess that's just the gambler inside me.

I think my problem is i'm desperately trying to convert from a degenerate parlay freek to bankroll and percentage freek and Im stuck in the middle. i lose a game and go back to blind parlays because theyre just about to start, fukkin infuriating.

I have no discipline at all.It has cost me big time in the past as well.So hard not to chase.Makes me sad to think about how much I would actually be up if I didn't chase. Its sickening
                  Yet I do it

The other fatal flaw in my gambling resume is my total lack of common sense when it comes to low numbers. As soon as I see a game at 7.5 or less I'm on it regardless of popular opinion or data, its like theres a voice in my head that is fukkin screaming 'do it, its over.' if I could stop I would. Ive tried, I cant, but i do feel Im now losing more acceptable amounts which I suppose is progress but Im definetly in agambling rut.

My problem is what is discussed in another topic on this board, I try to make a certain amount each week. If I have a day where I am down money I try to get the money back asap so that I can reach my weekly target. Probably best to gamble without a target in mind and it would be easier to take these losses and just move on.

Yeah, if you set a weekly profit point, you can chase yourself into a hole. Don't try to make up losses, move on to the next day and go about your business. Who knows, you can sweep the next day and clean up the mess from the day before that way.

I totally get the 'target' conundrum, its adifficult one because a target is fukkin meaningless if youre chasing harder than your bank withstand, targets are irrelevent when youre so far behind youve forgotton what the target was. Because Im fukkin useless Ive steered clear of posting a daily pick on this board but Im starting to think it might be the way to go to maybe give me a bit more incentive to pick right.

Attempted at taking the night off myself but a potential sweep of +137 lines caught my eye last minute....Rockies, Mets, taking the Braves at 10:00 was a mistake never had a chance as they were 1 hit. I would have had a better chance at stealing Laura Bush's jewelry box out of her room.

When you say you are clicking a button and you know that its wrong, what kinds of bets are you placing?

Blind parlays at the last minute. Not for any amount of money, just desperation bets 10 mins before the off after the main bet goes down in the deluded hope it might be my night.

Sounds like me. I always have a well thought plan, but it crumbles shortly therefore after.

                                    Bad money management kills...

I pick every game in the NFL, last year I was about 25 games under .500 ATS, didn't bet them all but did lose pretty much everything...

To finish up the season I went on like a 48 -20 run but I was already broke so I didn't have anything left to ride the hot streak.

Like in Vegas I have zero discipline I want to win big so bad.. last time I was up $350 on the 1st day of 3 and I was so sad because I knew I'd be giving it all back.

Before each week, set for yourself a stop-loss figure. If it's hit then quit for the rest of the week. Also do the same for a monthly level. I think that in the long term it's impossible to meet a weekly or monthly profit amount, but you can certainly
                                        have a losing limit.
