The Eagles have their man, and he isn’t going anywhere.
The team agreed to a six-year, $100 million contract with QB Michael Vick on Monday, NFL Network’s Michael Lombardi reported, citing a league source.
The contract includes nearly $40 million guaranteed and averages more than $16 million during the first three years.
Vick was scheduled to play under the $16 million franchise tender this season.Comment -

desean deserves a contract more than vick...desean has been great for past 3 years for them....and vick??....he was great for like 10 games. Vick is a high injury risk material....what were they thinking giving him such a big deal...that's brady/manning kind of money...and vick has done nothing close to what those guys have done....this is insane.Comment -

dont like this move if im in the eagles position.. vick is wayyy to injury prone to be throwing that kinda money. also got a feeling he will get injured esp with the way he plays.. as for desean, he is one of my busts of the year. not just if vick goes down but overall big plays going down and he being a deep threat. i actually have maclin on my rankings higher than desean as he will be there possession guy as well as speed and the right mindsetComment -

I think the Eagles are showing the world why this joke of a franchise has never won a Super Bowl with the 6 year 100 mil signing of vick aka douchebag dogkiller. Guy hasn't even looked that good in preseason. Is a average qb at best not anywhere near the calibur of Rodgers, Manning, Brees, and Brady. Actually i could throw in some more qb's but why bother. Vick's game is his running skills which obviously will detour with his age. Dog killer isn't a young pup anymore. But this is the Eagles not exactly a smart front office with that franchise.
