Great prop here fellas. Linebackers are traditionally defensive rookies of the year, as running backs are traditionally offensive rookie of the year. The 2nd 1st round pick in the 2011 draft has already boasted 3 sacks in the pre-season despite not playing an entire game. The presence of Elvis Dumervil will make it easier for rookie Von Miller to get to the Quarterback since he won't be the central of focus. Von Miller is blazing fast, and I'm expecting a 10 sack or more season here. 10 Sacks for a rookie is virtually a lock for the defensive rookie of the year award.

While I don't disagree that Von Miller has a good chance of winning DROY, you have to realize that the last time a pass rusher won DROY was Merriman in 2005. Since than, 4 MLB or ILB have won it, along with Suh last year. The only reason Miller has a chance this year is because there really were no highly drafted MLB or ILB this year, as their high number of tackles plus a few sacks/INT generally win them the award.Comment -
As i keep saying but its probably because denver is my team and i have a home there, but this team is underrated. They will make the playoffs this year. Their offense was not that bad last year and will only be better. There defense is so much better as long as these injuries dont catch up with us. With dj getting hurt von will play even more. I'm just saying that I don't want people blindly tailing this when they hear, "OMG, 9 LB have won in the last 11 years!" when the majority of the LB, especially in recent years, have been MLB or ILB. Dude already has 8 sacks with 7 games left, looks like Defensive rookie of the year is a done deal. I'll be shock if he doesn't get a pro bowl invitation. I almost feel sorry for the opposing QB with all the hits this guy getting on them. Von is an insane freaking Beast
