What do you do with your old cell phones?

I have built up a collection of five cell phones. Are they any good anywhere? Just toss them in the garbage or does any company take them back for any kind of credit etc etc?

I toss mine in the trash.

Read a story about heads collecting up old cellphones, they would take them apart and strip any metals that are worth money. Guess some have gold and sh1t in some of the wires and parts.

Seems like a lot of work to me....

I sell mine on ebay, but they are smartphones that still bring a good amount.
