The key to this bet is how many RISP The Pads leave on and how many bases Florida steal. Yesterday the Padres had 2nd and 3rd with no-outs whilst trailing by one in top of the 9th and still couldnt get it done, their numbers left on base are brutal. Also, they couldnt stop Stevie Wonder stealing bases, so if Florida try to drive home that advantage they could easily win. In my very uneducated opinion If the total is Over, Florida wins, if its under, The Pads win.

Florida also averages 5.7 runs per game against right handed starters. Everything looks like Florida and/or the over if you ask me...

I look at it this way: the Marlins average more than a full run less at home than they do away (5.7 vs. 4.35), and Petco is a much worse hitter's park than Dolphin Stadium. The best play is to put a chase on the under in this series.
