    What did sports betters/books do before the internet?
    Its a different ball game now than it was just 15 years ago, with the available info, twitter, sites like covers and SBR.

    We should have a bigger edge as players than we do.

    I remember hearing that if you are getting your news from ESPN, you're already behind the game.

    I used to go to the gym where Falcons players workout and chit chat with the players finding out who is injured or get tips about the game plan and clock management. Then come home put all the data in my spreadsheet (which was a bunch of notepads with the math equations I developed) and then after spending the night solving the differential equations by hand I will make a play and call my local to place a bet. Lots of man hours were spend on a single game.

        NFL injuries were in the paper other stuff hard to find but I did not bet back then

          Funny with all this data, info, news, stats,etc.
