Did Nadal Play Over His Head??
Never saw a guy make so many perfect shots in a pressure match. I am now starting to think maybe Fed just ran into a guy on a roll. The key stat was break chances and Fed had tons of them and never converted, that as the difference. Is Fed really on the decline or did Nadal play over his head?

No not at all, he should be the new #1 player in the world.

He has been winning on grass all year and he almost beat Federer here last year. Federer MIGHT still be slightly better on grass, but the gap is not nearly what it was.

Nadal will end up one of the best. He just turned 22 and already has 5 Grand Slams.
Federer at Nadals age had one. This guy is the real deal.

I hate tennis but must admit the finals match will go down as a classic.

He is one of the best ... #2 in the world ... simply because Fed came into the game before Nadal, no other reason. But Nadal demonstrated yesterday that gutts will always defeat strategy.

He had 2 match points in third and fourth set.

Federer would have won had he been able to break ONE serve of Nadal's in that last game. Didn't happen, thus he lost.

I had Nadal going into the match. Statistically he qas slightly stronger than Fed throughout Wimbledon (although they were pretty much equal in the final).
