Benefits of Multiple Labby Lines

Is there any way to quantify the benefit of multiple labby lines over a single?

This got buried in "Player Talk" so I figured I'd put it here.

multiple labby lines leads to disaster.

Not a fan of progression bets mainly because you end up betting more because of the losses but your edge doesn't increase per game(if you indeed have an edge). It fine to increase your bets but only if your edge is higher not because you lost perviously.

Increasing the lines benefit in keeping the bets down but what happens usually is you can't get out and clear all the losses previously no matter how many lines that are added.

There may be some out there who can win using progressions but I'm certainly not one of them.
