Problem with the Flo/Col pitching confusion today at SIA
So for those that don't follow lines closely, the Florida pitcher in today's game was changed, then changed back to the original pitcher before the game started.

This resulted in early morning bets on the original pitcher being voided (arguably rightly so, since they did not know he would ultimately end up starting), however the bet I placed on the total after the first pitching swap (12:01pm pst according to their time stamp) was incorrectly graded as a loss. This bet should be no action as well since they switched back to their original pitcher.

I'm sure others are in the same boat, can SBR please look into this?

This never has happened to me but usually Over/Unders are always graded as "action" unless otherwise indicated by the the book itself (you'll see the names listed in the bet" or by the player.

It's been my experience that totals usually change significantly when pitching changes are announced, and are always voided unless 'action' is checked.

In fact, SIA did manage to void the total bets that were placed in the early morning; they simply failed to void the pre-game bets on the second pitcher.

No, there is no such thing as Action for totals and run lines, those bets are ALWAYS llisted pitchers only. The Action option only applies to money lines.

So you are obviously entitlled to a refund. This is obviously just a misgreading by SIA. Just contact them and they will fix it, no need to use an intermediate third party (unless of course they don't correct it).

Yes you did I appreciated it also , as I checked and saw my 3 team parlay had been reduced to a 2 teamer. Glad it happened as my Colo RL was a loser and the first 2 were winners. I also went to live chat and confirmed before the game started so there would be no confusion after the fact.

            Thanks for the heads up

Some UK bookies all baseball is action. Gamebookers is one of them. There is no such thing as a listed pitcher bet with them. Pretty much any costa rician book goes by the above rules.

NOTE: Always be aware of every book you deal with and their rules. It saves a lot of heartache later.

                  20Four7,

OK, but he specifically said SIA, which is an "American" book.
