It looks like we have a date on Sunday and the big threat for us seems to be no power ( read internet) for days or more. Folks in New York are looking at potential big time flooding. N Carolina is up first but I think they are pros. Let's hope she takes a right and spares the unprepared northeast!

Cmon, we already got a earthquake this month, sorta.

Unprepared north Easterner checking in. I went to the store today... picked up bread, peanut butter, cheezits, gallons of water, triple double oreos, and booze. Lots and lots of booze. The perfect survival kit . We're supposed to get hit Monday, which is the same day classes are supposed to start up. All the people living in the dorms are moving in tomorrow to beat the storm, so if the storm is bad and knocks out power, its going to be chaos. Hopefully that means we'll find some freshman chicas to come party during the outage

Went to school on the Texas coast and that's how you do it!
We weren't worried about surviving tropical storms and hurricanes, but surviving the hurricane parties!

Most likely a tropical storm but the time it gets done with NC. Only problem is the track is starting to go NNW so that doesnt bode well for most. My barrier island is gonna be in bad shape after this.

Another semi-prepared New Englander checking in. Everything is secure around the house and all of the patio furniture has been taken inside. Hopefully, the sub-pumps are in working order...haven't heard them go off since the spring. Plenty of booze and a nice bag of weed have been purchased...nothing makes the time go by like being stoned.

Got to the stores late. Only water available was Voss. Im not buying 50 little bottles of that at 4 bucks a pop. The family will be drinking Snapple...lots of snapple.
