Why would you get a better line -1 then -1.5?

It's a reverse runline...boston would have to win by more than one run which is essently a 1.5 reverse runline. If Boston wins by one it is a draw for you. The oddsmakers have them losing.

I think it is a bad bet...most "normal" runlines are bad bets since 25% of MLB games result in 1 run spreads. If you like that bet you may as well as take the -2.5 for the Yankees.

Thanks for the clarification. Yes...that is odd but just may be because of heaving line movement (on the -1.5) on a prop that many people dont bet.

They should, it was available, you confirmed it. If you didnt though then you cant claim it like you cant with old point spreads during line changes.

Depends on how hard it was hit. Again...I place those bets in a league of their own in terms of risk.
