Anyone ever had this bad streak?

A bunch of blown saves, especially the D'Backs/Brewers and Marlins/Rockies debacle, now today with Cordero blowing it with no one on and two outs (had -1.5 Reds and it blew me a huge double -1.5 parlay with the Rays) and the Mets are in the process of blowing it.

Somehow, miraculously, I've still come out on top this week despite these bad beats. Oh well!

I have lost a few in the first couple innings if that comforts you. It hurts because I chose the wrong team.

Check how the bullpens matched up in those losses:
      covers.com/pageLoader/pageLoader.aspx?page=/data/mlb/statistics/2008/bullpenstatistics_mlb_regular.html&t=0

It can help to divide a wager into 1H and full game, when the bullpen is clearly worse.

speaking of blowing -1.5 , wsox linebrink just did. Nothing like putting $100 for +215 odds and losing it in the ninth and when its not even wsox closer. I feel for everyone these past couple of weeks.

Last Sunday Had Baltimore...up by 1 bottom the 9th 2 outs runner at 1st.

Batter, Belliard I think, grounds it down the 1st base line, kicks just foul. Next pitch is strike 3 umpire doesn't call it. Next pitch 2 run bomb game over - loser

            I feel your pain...

A better question is who hasn't had these type of bad beats. Comes with the territory.

Yesterday I was 4-0 with my baseball wagers with 4 more games left to go and just need 1 to have a winning day. Lost all 4.....

Maybe you should look at the 1st 5 innings.I've had plenty of games I was winning after 5 innings only to have the bullpen screw me.If the starting pitcher is on you'll usually be ahead after 5 so give it a look.Amazing your ahead after all that.Case in point I had Colorado,Cincinnati, and Tampa Bay all giving 1.5 and if I would have taken them all the first 5 innings on the moneyline I would have won.

make it one more blown game, Houston gave up 2 runs and will probably end up losing.

Stop whining. This is normal in baseball.

If you click on the link I mentioned, you'll see that Houston has the number 20 bullpen and Atlanta the number 7 bullpen.

I am surprised philly is number 1

DH last year some time you sent me a link for some handicapping info. I like to say thanks it was and is very informative.

Have you considered 4 1/2 inning lines????
