    Advice on Las Vegas Sportsbooks
I'm heading to Vegas for the opening weekend of the NFL..couple questions.

    1) Best sportsbooks? And what time do I need to get there on an NFL sunday to get a seat?

    2) Are there any places that have a reserved seating section if you make a wager of a certain amount?

    3) What are the best places for drink tickets/free drinks with your wager?

Thanks in advance for the help.

Happy to help out a fellow Cards fan.

    1) All depends on what you're looking for. Best places to lay big bets? Hilton, M, Palms, Venetian. Best atmosphere? Same as above, Caesars, PH, South Point, Mandalay. And on NFL days, it would help to get there early and get a seat, especially if you have a group.

    2) Not that I know of. Sometimes you see roped off areas for big-time players that have cards and have gambled away a ton of money at that casino. They're nobody I'd be envious of. The pros that I know never sit there.

    3) I always turn them down, because I never stay there to watch the game. As long as your betting over $50 a game, they should give you one per bet. Ask for one if they don't, sometimes they won't give them away unless requested, which is smart if you think about it.

    Have a great time!

Be in the sportsbook by 7am if you want a seat. First week people will be there early. Games start 10am local time. Don't drink too much the night before or you will be late and won't get a seat.

Yeah its tough to get a seat and standing is always an option. It is nice to have a place to rest your drink on though.

Most people take the daily NFL sheet handouts and turn them over and write "Taken" and leave it on the seat.

"which i think is bullshit" but if other people are going to do I might as well too. It's the same type of thing at the Las Vegas pools people get out there early and put a towel down on the chair and then leave to go eat breakfast so nobody else takes their chair.

I wonder if fights or verbal confrontations ever happen b/c of people fighting over seats... ??

sometimes the Las Vegas Hilton attracts thugs on game days... Gangsta looking dudes with Jerseys on.

They get wild too drinking hennesey and yelling at the tv screens... don't let them hear you cheering for the other team or you might get ran up on... "Raider Fan" style

I was at planet Hollywood and there were no seats. Like 30 people standing, dying for a seat. Some dude in the front was watching the games with his mom, gf, and 2 aunts. The women didn't give a fukk about the game and weren't paying attention. I was pissed as fukk. Why couldn't those hoes go somewhere else and gossip? 4 useless women taking up space.

I've never watched a game there but I do like how the sports book and race book are separated.

Yea. Everytime one of them got up to go to the bathroom, there were 5 dudes fighting for the seat. Was a complete mad house. Would have rather been in my livingroom.

Maybe you should try watching the game at a bar or restaurant? I usually place a bet and then watch the game somewhere where its less crowded while i grab a drink or a bite to eat. You can always come back and cash your ticket. Its not like its mandatory that you have to watch the game ONLY there because you placed the bet there.....just my 2 cents....

you will need a time machine to go back into the 90's for free drink tickets

This is true. Was my first time there. I would have killed for a big screen in my room with nfl ticket. I bet and watched the sunday night game in my room.

I haven't been to the M, but of the books I've been to, the Hilton seems to have all current lines up on the wall and most games on the big screen. It may take awhile to get free drinks cause they're usually swamped. Mixing gambling with alcohol is a bad idea so don't deviate from your selections if you decide to drink.

                                1) Best sportsbooks? And what time do I need to get there on an NFL sunday to get a seat?
For me, Its Mirage or MGM Grand, Nice seats that are comfortable and the the TV screens are perfectly placed so no matter where you sit, you see all the games, Its great if you like betting second halfs because you see every game.

                                2) Are there any places that have a reserved seating section if you make a wager of a certain amount?
Yes, The Rio wil reserve you a table if you call weeks in advanced and deposit 15k there, same with MGM grands sky boxes

                                3) What are the best places for drink tickets/free drinks with your wager?
Las Vegas Hilton and drinks are also free at the rio
Thanks in advance for the help.

The golden nugget has a pretty decent little book. Low limits (doesn't matter unless you're betting limits), good drinks, two tickets per $20+ bet trip to the window if you ask. The Hilton has a lot of seats and TVs (don't need drink tickets just show them a betting ticket), service can take awhile. Palazzo has the best game watching experience, stadium seating, good service I don't know if they give out tickets, I've never hung out there. You might need to make a reservation to get a seat....
