Does a recreational player need 2 books?

The only reason I deposited at DSI was to renew my Pro membership. The max deposit via CC was $250. My balance is now well over the $500 minimum for book to book transfer. Thinking of sending everything to 5dimes, where I have an account too.

Any reasons I shouldn't?

I always have because one book has a prop another one doesnt, one may have internet problems or be slow just before kickoff. But the best reason is sometimes you just get unlucky at one place.

Books like DSI, Legends, etc. are solid books. Good for a rec player, but your not going to catch a good line. What they are good for is slower line movement when you see the line moving at your 5dimes account. That is the reason to have a second book like these.

It is tough being a US player. Our options are drying up.

I always have accounts at several different books.

Multiple outs saves me a lot on gas by not having to go to the store to reload nearly as often!

2 to 3 books + an exchange is perfect IMO (if that new exchange that is accepting US gets good reviews, that is huge for US bettors)

He limited me to $50 max reduced juice so I cashed out and told him to go fukk himself. That was years ago. Much better options out there

If you're really recreational meaning you're not in it to make money then 1 book with good lines should be enough, although a couple extra certainly wouldn't hurt

I see numerous posts about people getting shut out of a game they wanted, because of server problems at books. Having 2 or more books will help take care of that problem. It will also give you more options.

Stick with a local... have a book or two online as backups and for props/exotics.

The more books you have, the better the chance to get the best line out there. Bonus whoring/scalping is also a good reason to have multiple books

Used to have (funded) accounts at over 15 books, cut it down to "just" 8 now
