Guys back off the Brewers today
Most think its free money, they are wrong...........Pitt wins today with this no name scrub throwing a decent game and marcum not pitching like his usual self. This game is going to bury the forum.................... Back off and either play pitt or dont touch the game. Brahma will be bullshit after the brewers dont show up today! Boys its get away day for the brewers, gonna be alot of funny shit in this game, Trust me i have seen no names beat teams all the time. The brewers have no notes on this pitcher, and it will show today! Brewers probably gonna give a couple of the regulars a day off also. As i stated be careful boys!

I'm always scared of a MLb debut where the kid was a top draft pick... Obviously has talent.

Remember Brewers aren't playing for ANYTHING anymore fellas. Getaway day to boot.

Please at least wait til Roenicke releases the MIL lineup for today.

              some top draft pick

this guy had a 5.00 ERA in DOUBLE FUKKING A, and I'm supposed to believe he's gonna go from being an awful double A pitcher to a great major league pitcher just like that while facing a red hot offense???

furthermore, he's gonna be on a 60 pitch count today... that means the brewers get to face that overworked shtty pittsburg bullpen for about 5-7 innings...

Milwaukee has been red hot in August going 18 - 4 through yesterday and Vegas has been kind for the most part on the their lines. Those that have rode them have been making bank this month.

I realize this may be some trap.. but honestly... Aaron Thompson was getting lit up by double A players for a reason.

I honestly couldn't imagine him going more than 5 innings or giving up less than 2 ER... and I think Marcum will do better than that today, so I had to make my play on Milwaukee. Best value of the early games I think.

This game is starting to remind me of a Boston day game loss a few weeks ago that EVERYONE (including me) was sure they would win.

Another thing to consider is that if Milwaukee loses today, they don't even win the series against the Pirates... Almost every coach I know preaches winning series' so its not like this is a throw away game. They put their every day lineup out there and they're starting one of the best road pitchers in baseball this year, who has already shut down the Pirates twice.

                            this

the prospect of pittsburg splitting a 4 game series with milwaukee is hard to swallow considering milwaukee's domination of this team over the last 3 years (46-11 record against them)

Oh, and by the way, to say the Brewers have 'nothing to play for' is very very ignorant. They are 5 games behind the Phillies for best record in the NL...

If they can catch and pass the Phillies, they will be assured home field advantage THROUGHOUT THE ENTIRE PLAYOFFS.

For a team who is dominant at home, you're telling me that the prospects of homefield advantage throughout the entire playoffs is not something to play for?

Because honestly... if the NLCS is Brewers/Phillies, home field advantage might decide it, so you better believe the Brewers want to win every single game.

I see the warning signs but even so this is incredible value.

I'm in for 18x to win about 10x.

yea that explosive offense is really gonna struggle against a Double A pitcher and a bunch of scrubby pittsburg relievers
