The small town I live in just had it's 100th anniversary and all class high school reunion and I heard and saw enough stupidist things people do when they are drunk stories to last a lifetime.The population of the town is 2 thousand but during the big parade on the 3rd,they figured there were 40 thousand people in town.It's like a mini metro area where there are some bigger and smaller towns close by that all have the same stuff going on so it's like 4th of July gone wild every year here.I'm surprised it doesn't catch national network attention and become bigger than the Sturgis bike get together.The guy who played Mac Gyver was even on the top of my hill watching the parade.The only other celebrity from town is a guy that was a long time head ref in the NFL who reffed 3 Super Bowls and the idiot was going around meeting all his buddies in the bars with his 3 Super Bowl rings on.I just thought the players from the hoods did that kind of stuff on the strip in Vegas where they get mugged.Then you had Al Franken the socialist running for democratic senator in the parade and probably sensible non drunk yells out,look,it's Pat from Saturday Night Live.The guy has a total history of shafting his employees by not fullfilling employment requirements in every state he had business interests and the unions and democrats embrace him.
Booze was everywhere and the bars in one weekend make more money than they do in 15 weekends.Even if 1% of the people get totally wasted and do something stupid it made it where it was total chaos.Just a few hours ago these 20 something year old guys in pitch dark were racing dirt bikes through town going 100 miles an hour.The dumb ass city mainentance crews with their union won't work on Sunday's so the town will look like a war zone till tomorrow with mounds of stinky booze bottles,cans etc.It's a good thing it's not in the 90's like it was because I'm sure the urine factor would play a presence where it would smell like an open sewer.hehe!Comment -
