    Sports Touts.
Does anyone even buy picks from touts anymore. Their heyday is pretty much gone now isn't it? Thoughts any one?

They are all posted for free online these days. I am interested in some touts like Dave Malinsky and a few others who actually do a real good job in their analysi, but why pay for them when others are posting their plays for free.....

Brandon Lang more or less ruined himself when he went on ESPN radio in L.A. and lost ten straight bets, it was laughable in the end, you just wanted him to get one right.

I think a lot of it depends on what type of bets you have and how much you bet. Who needs a tout if $50 parlays on the totals is your thing. I don't honestly see what a tout could give you that, in this day and age of the internet you couldnt take the time to find out yourself, so unless its a speed issue why bother?

There was a famous scam in London years ago with horseracing tipsters. They would pick a 6 runner race and give a different horse to everyone who called so they had every horse covered. The beauty of the scheme was you didnt pay if it lost, only if it won, so the people who backed the winner sent their money in to get the next tip thinking they were tipster genisus when in fact they were just very clever con-men.
