The banks still have some bad assets on their books, but they have already been forced to mark to market. Now some real estate holdings are still under water because the appraisers can't find a price that meets reality without destroying their bank relationships, but much of their ORE is finally close to book.Comment -

Actually it is more like King Pretend.
Let's school everyone on "Lemart".
He began his posting career at SBR as "Taylor"----and when he got buried under that handle-----he went to the mods and cried, whined until they allowed him to create a new handle---thus Lemart was born.
There is a great thread where he loses it when Lou outs his new name.
