Went through the threads here and enjoyed re-living the past few days. Had a real blast meeting all of you at the Bash and so much to think back about!
Friday night's party got the weekend off to an awesome start! The Legends girls, the RebateWager girls, and Bodog Becky all within yards of each other - enough said right there. And I have to say - you are a nobody in this business until you have at least partied with Bodog Becky once. Great music, open bar, and Loshak doing some fun interviews. My 5-year-old son even liked the band and was hoping to see them again Saturday, but we got an even better surprise then!
Saturday's cookout at the office got Day 2 off and running nicely. Having visited the old office, I know everyone must really be enjoying the new one big time! I was glad to meet Joel and Zack there after all of our work together online. I also enjoyed talking with Hazel and Rachel from Legends - they really made a big time showing as a sponsor for the Bash! Get your reloads in at legends.com!
Saturday's poker tourney did not go too well for me, but the juices were flowing just being a part of the action. Had to go all-in early with my K-Q, but ran into Iwinyourmoney's flush on the turn. Stepped out after for a trip to the pool with the family - having been by Los Suenos so many times and finally getting to hit the pool had me feeling like a king.
Saturday night's dinner was a high-roller event all the way. The food and setting were as top-notch as it gets! I was glad to see Harlee get pretty far in the trivia questions and the comedian was a riot. JJ Gold's surprise video appearance stole the whole show though! My son didn't even know what JJ was saying but still laughed louder than anyone else.
Had to head off early Sunday, but it looks like the fishing and golfing went well! Also wished I could have went out for some wild nights Friday and Saturday in San Jose and Jaco, but I ended up being a family man all weekend - was my son's birthday this week. Did plenty of the wild stuff in other CR visits and never forget some of the times I've had.
A big thanks to everyone at SBR for a great job all weekend - Cynthia, Lou, Dax, Shannon, Bill, John, Peter, and the rest of the whole crew! Was sorry that Sam could not make it and hope he is doing well.
I look forward to staying in touch with everyone I met. Have known some of you for a long time and was glad to finally make it to a Bash!
