MNF airheads claiming kickoff rule hurts Bears because of Hester

[yisman]

Hester is not the primary kickoff returner. In fact, his last kickoff return for a TD was in the 2007 season.

[yisman]

2010: Bears had 59 kickoff returns, 12 were by Hester
2009: Bears had 80 kickoff returns, 7 were by Hester

still hurts them they have good blocking schemes whoever is back there

[yisman]

Yes, they have a good special teams unit.

My point wasn't addressing whether or not it hurts them, but rather on the logic used by the fools announcing this game (Gruden, Jaworski, and Tirico).

That's why I don't watch preseason football. Too many airheads on the air.

They'll suddenly get smarter in 2 weeks?

[I/O]

Hester couldn't count to four if you spotted him the first three.

[Glitch]

yeah hes more of a punt returner even if he did run back a lot of kickoffs in college and his earlier pro years.

ESPN is a joke.
