Heard this on the radio this morning and can not remember the name of the company. But it was for buying shares on teams and the value of the teams gained or loss on how the preformed everyday. Just like buying stocks. Has anyone heard of this.

This is what I tell people I do when they ask me if I bet on games. Just mention the word 'shares' and your gambling becomes socially acceptable.

How is that different than buying/selling futures on an exchange? Sound like the same thing.
