I have packed up my valuables and have been ready since yesterday. Not a good sign for my place. I am praying it doesn't burn down. It is still far away but our last big fire it came down and hit where I live within 40 minutes. My house that I live in now was built from when the last big fire hit. 13,000 homes evacuated as of today. Arnold is here also...I am going to my girlfriends house downtown where it is safe. I will be posting from there... This is depressing..

It is insane here. I have had a hard time breathing. Power has been out for over 250k people for the last 4 days.. I have never seen anything like this in my life. Only in movies.

Rain? It only rains about 2 or 3 days a year in Santa Barbara. That is one of the reasons it is a desired place to live. You can wear t-shirt and shorts 365 if you wanted to . It is funny to me because I grew up in Illini country in Springfield IL and use to snow, sleet , ice and rain.. my friends out here a lot of them have never even seen snow!!!
