the rockies are god awful and a disgrace to the major leagues. how do you from world series representative to double a joke of a team where you will be lucky to not finish last for the year?

rockies do not conduct themselves like professionals

isn't it obvious why the rockies are bad this year..they lost anal fissure victim kazuo matsui!! ....look we have to realize the Rockies had one extraordinary run last season and it was a combination of luck coupled with playing excellent baseball at the right time....what happened to them in the world series?? Yeah thats right..umm it wasn't much of a series and most any NL team was not going to give the Red Sox a run for their money anyway.....let them enjoy their 18-17 victory it was exciting and some of their younger kids are going to have to play with Helton going on the DL with a back ordeal....And yeah the Rockies are still in it because every team in the NL West is under .500 winning %!!!!!!

Its been a season of frustration... loaded with injuries... Holliday missed time... Hawpe missed time... Tulowitzki missed time, Corpas melted down, Francis has fallen off... The bounces have been going against this team all year.

They complete the biggest comeback in Rockies history and celebrate it, and you are ripping them for it? Please.

I lost a ton of money (Around 15% of my entire bank account) on Sabathia and the Indians losing to the White Sox a few nights ago... Delucci up with bases loaded two separate times makes an out to end the inning both times... Casey Blake makes two errors in the same inning with the Indians up 4 - 3 to give the Sox the lead 4 - 5... Sizemore ties it 5 - 5 in the 9th only to have AJ Pierzynski hit his 2nd HR of the game (7th of the season) in walkoff fashion to bury me. Then the White Sox go on to lose to the A's twice in a row just to rub it in on me.

Yeah, losing sucks dude, especially when you are on the wrong side of some bull****. But don't blame the athletes for getting excited about winning.

Sad part is that Gregg will still have the closers job today.

Oh and you can thank Hanley Ramirez for turning 2 outs into ZERO outs on that routine double play grounder.

Im still sick to my stomach.

Off the top of my head, I would go with Waechter.

In the same amount of innings, Waechter has a better ERA, has walked 11 fewer batters and has 3 more K's.

Oh, and he hasnt blown 3 games in one week.

Oh and FYI, Fredi is a fvckin moron. He took the only pitcher who was throwing strikes out of the game so he could play R/R, L/L matchup bullshit.

Well I'm not sure I would go with Waechter as my regular closer over Gregg, but I do agree with you that Waechter was probably a better choice on Friday to stay in and give Gregg a day off. Waechter is more capable right now of throwing multiple innings. Gregg has started some in the past, not much but some.
