I would make sure 3G is available in your area because otherwise it'll run on the EDGE network. Its barely faster than dialup and is driving me nuts.

Hell no. It's fun playing around with other peoples but I'm just not going to spend that much money on something I can't fit in my pocket right and breaks if you just walk into anything with it. I've saw one break from just being dropped. I mean like the display cracking, plastic flying, from just dropping it on the ground.

Lots of techno geeks are saying the new iPhone is a huge dissapointment. And you can only buy at AT&T stores which means you are locked into a 2 year contract. Phone may cost under $200 but AT&T raised the price on the plans to make up for it.

I'm going to pass and keep my old iPhone since I can't take advantage of 3G.
