Do You Get Any Violence At US Games?
Was wondering if their are any rivalries where a visiting fan had to be very careful about displaying colours or supporting their side. Somebody told me OK-OK State can be brutal. Any others for the list? How does Yankees-Sox pan out in the hate stakes?

The biggest fights are usually at the concession stand if they run out of chilli dogs or Bud Light.

Those games have quietened down in recent years, mainly because A) Oakland suck and B) Charger fans dont bother going because the local media tell them its going to be World War 3 for a week before the game. I do remember going to Oak at S-D in 1999 and every time the Raiders scored guns would be fired in the air which was kinda novel for someone who is used to people beating each others heads in the good old fashioned 'fighting' style.

Wear your Raider gear into Qualcomm stadium and see what happens. Charger fans are by far the toughest fans in the NFL, and have now officially taken the mantle from the LA Raider fans. We dont bite unless provoked and these days, no fans have cojones to come in our house and try and push us around. The LA gangbanger Raider goofs stopped coming down here after numerous beat downs.

Texas - Okla has a lot of genuine bad blood and fights mainly because Okla blows.

Philly sporting event attendees are notoriously assholic. I bet if you sent some people to a Phillies game and had them loudly root for the other team, you would have a reasonable expectation of violence.

Maybe not so much at the game itself, but the neighborhoods near the event are some of the most dangerous places on the earth.

They don't "brawl" anywhere in the States, they have gunfights!

The terms "shootout" & "sudden death" have real meaning in America.

Saw some fights between Canadiens and Maple Leaf fans years ago when the Leafs were still at the Gardens...Well, not really fights as they were drunken fools who couldn't tie their shoes, let alone put together a quick jab combination. Pretty funny though, as it just escalated to the point where the fracas was just one drunken blob slowly rolling down Carlton street looking like a single organism.....

Yeah, I realize it's not a "US" game, but what the hell.....
