Looks like all the home teams decided to play after the 4:10pm Fox game today, Remember FOX has in their contract the 3 hour window each way( After 1pm to 7pm eastern time for today) that any games played can not be shown on TV in that 6 hour time frame.

Which I don't get. If Fox is not ever going to show a 1pm game, what do they care? The 1pm game is over before the 4pm starts.

Why Fox doesn't have a deal with MLB for a doubleheader every Saturday also doesn't makes sense. There would be nothing on TV against baseball at 1pm except infomercials and cartoons. You have a captive audience.

I hate fox i have mlb.tv and they screw me every saturday by blacking out all the early games except the one being shown in my area which is usually lame matchup i don't care about.

MLB does most things wrong when it comes to scheduling. Much like having their playoffs and WS in the middle of the football season.

Exactly. The season is too long and it should end in mid Sept.

I hate the fact MLB is played almost exclusively in warm weather throughout the season, and then in the playoffs you have a total different game. It's cold/snows in Boston, NY .. did in COL, back when the Rockies were in the playoffs. It's just stupid to have long-ass season of baseball played one way, then when it really matters, start playing a total different game of MLB in the cold.
