A witness said JJ and others were involved in a fight outside "shady's bar" in baton Rouge. The name of the bar just puts the icing on the cake.
Report says 4 people were injured in the fight and submitted themselves into the local hospital.
If LSU suspends JJ do we see Mettenberger take snaps versus Oregon?

Only that last sentence is true because LSU wins handily no matter who the QB will be. Oregon will struggle offensively vs. a real defense, just like they did vs. Auburn, and the LSU defense this year is better then Auburn's defense was last year.

Miles will start Jarrett Lee over Mettenberger if Jefferson is out simply bc he has game experience. But, Mettenberger would see the field and more than likely replace Lee as starter or #2.

Haven't we seen the result of SEC speed vs the rest of the country. I could be QB and have a shot, even with Les Miles pulling strings.

As for Jefferson, remember Miles wouldn't suspend Ryan Perriloux when he was arrested 4 days before the SEC championship game because he was the backup and the starter was hurt. LSU went on to win the BCS championship.

God i hope not really would like to see mettenberger... i've seen enough of Lee to last a lifetime. I actually think Jefferson is going to be improved this year hes not as bad as the stats would have you believe there were a number of dropped passes.

I bet you were not on a free ride scholarship to play QB and had 84 other young individuals looking up to you and counting on you keeping your nose clean. Not to mention everything these young men get national exposure, and while creating this kind of negativity may not damage your reputation, it sure as hell does not help it.

Probably wont be suspended.....seems the guy that got messed up is a known trouble maker and actualy started the schirmish... we will have to see what the investigation turns out. If JJ and other LSU players started it then they should pay the price. If it was self defense then no fuss......witnesses said today on the Finbaum show it was a 4 on 4 event....I guess we will see.
