non gambler claims to be great at picking winners

heres the story.

a guy i know (friend of a friend) always will ask me the line if a game is going on (usually football or basketball) if we are at a bar and watching it. im usually pretty honest about what i have unless im in a bad mood and losing and dont wanna put up with him. always claims he woulda had the right side if he was playing the game. its just annoying. i ask why he doesnt bet then and hell just laugh it off or ignore it. i dont really get outwardly emotional during games i bet for the most part, so i might as well just say i didnt bet the game in the future.

im sure other people know of friends or acquaintances like this, was wondering if anyone had another similiar type situations?

Exact same thing. I've been out of the game for a few months, but when I was funded and going strong on a nightly basis, my buddy Carlos would always ask when what I had. When the game would come on or the score flash by, he'd say "Oh man, you should have taken XXX" or "I would have been all over XXX"....

Obviously, the team he says he would have taken is winning or had already won. Guy would be picking at a 100% clip
